For companies like Facebook – much of their success has been found stemming from mobile newsfeed ads along with App Install Ads. They have also have seem to place a higher value on displaying paid posting in place of “organic” listings.

Twitter has found their success by focusing on mass media outlets and events such as the Super Bowl and the Sochi Olympics which has attracted a great deal of new users and parties interested in advertising upon the network.

Google, of course, continues to push hard through their many different services and applications.
